Why Kylie Jenner Skipped The 2021 Met Gala
They might as well just cancel the Met Gala again, because without Zendaya or Kylie Jenner on the red carpet what’s the point?!?!
Yep, you read that right. Though she’s dominated fashion’s annual night out every single year since 2016, Kylie will be skipping out on tonight’s festivities. That means no crystal-studded gowns, no extravagant wigs, and no feathered sleeves. *Whines uncontrollably.*
The soon-to-be mom of two confirmed the news on her Instagram Stories. After sharing a countdown of her past Met Gala looks (😢), Kylie wrote a short note to her fans: “i’m so sad i couldn’t make it this year i can’t wait to see all the looks.”
My question is: WHY? Kylie was *literally* in New York City three days ago for fashion week. All you had to do was stay a couple more nights, girl! Do it for the fans!!!
I’m hoping this is some cruel, cruel joke and Kylie will show up on those famous Met steps with a baby bump covered in rhinestones. It’s called manifesting, people!
