The newly-wearable loafers (lol) feature as part of a larger collaborative drop between the musician and the label. You can also get your hands on slightly more conventional Tommy Cash x Margiela merch, including an oversized sweater and a black t-shirt bearing their combined logos (the clothing pays homage to Kurt Cobain and Eastern Europe’s cheap bootlegs, respectively).

Returning to the food theme, the capsule is rounded out with a packet of noodles, or “luxury ramen”, that “delivers the Haute Couture savour to quick meals with no need to leave the house”. Incidentally, the label on the vacuum-packed ramen states that it’s a collectible item and not for consumption: “Eat only at your own risk.”

Alongside the merch collection, Tommy Cash has also released a new track, kind of. Titled “Mute (by Maison Margiela)” the song is — spoiler alert — actually just three minutes and 30 seconds of pure silence. Whether that earns him the title of “a rap game Johnny Cage” is up to you.
