This week, Instagram is radiating a certain…glow. Whether it’s due to the dawning of a second hot girl summer, or just a cornucopia of deliciously light-weight looks, one prime example came via Lotta Volkova. The noughties-loving stylist, who worked on the buzzy spring 2021 Blumarine show, took a selfie in a look from the collection featuring one of its iconic cardigans with a fur collar trim. (In typically cheeky Volkova style, she finished it off with a pair of slides and pink socks.)

Also gearing up for a playful summer is Rosalia. The Spanish singer wore a full look by Chopova Lowena featuring scenic prints on body-skimming stretchy mesh, even including one of the brand’s vintage pacifier necklaces. Finally, truly providing that summer-ready glamour was French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura, with the current reigning queen of Francophone bops going for a sultry vibe in a body-skimming black turtleneck dress. In other words, magnifique!

Also, an unexpected trend alert: capri pants. Model and phone case maven Devon Lee Carlson went full early ’00s by opting for a pair of capris teamed with none other than thong heels and a frilly going-out top. (Somewhere out there, Lizzie McGuire is cheering.) And finally, all the way in Crimea, designer Edie Karimova went back to her home in Yevpatoria. While you might recognize Karimova from a Vogue shoot years ago that delved into her Crimean Tatar culture, this time, she wore a red skirt suit and a black leather Prada bag. A perfect accessory to complete the look? The red flowers in a scenic field that served as a backdrop.
