Take a look back at Mac Miller’s mixtape days.
Mac Miller is officially releasing his newest album GO:OD AM tomorrow on Warner Bros. Records. Despite the fact that the new LP, which is already available for streaming via NPR by the way, is only Mac’s third proper full-length, he’s delivered no less than eleven mixtapes over the years and some EPs to boot.
The MC’s journey in music began with a 2007 mixtape called But My Mackin’ Ain’t Easy, but things really kicked into high gear with the release of K.I.D.S. in 2010. Since then there’s been everything from Vince Staples collabs to avant-garde beat tapes, all driven by Mac’s sincere love for music, regardless of genre.
Today we’re throwin’ it back to some of Mac Miller’s mixtape cuts. Sink your teeth into these ten joints.
