We have the distinct pleasure to announce that NYC based saxophonist, singer, and songwriter Kevin “Blue” Woods and his bands BlueWoods premieres “Summertime,” first track off his full-album titled Citylife, today on Nuevo Culture.

The song is a laid back summer anthem, featuring the magical saxophone presence thanks to Kevin Woods’ innate abilities at translating his emotions and messages through his instrument.

Kevin Woods is a talented saxophonist, band leader, composer, lyricist, vocalist and rapper. He founded BlueWoods in 1995, blending jazz, R&B, and urban contemporary sounds in a unique way. “Summertime” features the talented female vocalist Twanée, who perfectly complements the harmonious summer vibe delivered by the song.

Woods created a sound that evokes a fusion between Hip-Hop, R&B, and Jazz, and his energetically seductive saxophone lines are so tantalizing it symbolizes the perfect fusion between his multiple influences.

”Summertime” is definitely one of the most subtle productions we’ve heard in a while, with a heavy dose of emotions performed with utmost grace by BlueWoods.
