Matt Tanner Talks Power and Corruption in Latest Single ‘Box Full of Bones’

Following the successful video release of single ‘Josephine’ a few weeks ago, Jersey-based Country-rock singer Matt Tanner is back at it again with a second thought-provoking number, Box Full of Bones.

Recorded in Nashville, TN by top level musicians at Beaird Music Group, Tanner explores the often times inevitable crookedness of people occupying high ranking positions.

“I seek to find the truth, the good, the bad and everything in between,” says Tanner about his songwriting. Like ‘Josephine’, ‘Box Full of Bones’ is a story exploring the complexities of human behaviour through an equally catchy soundscape held down by drums and an electric guitar at its peaks.

Tanner’s music is an appealing combination of country, rock and blues inspired by the likes of both rock and roll legends like Black Sabbath and AC/DC, but also country dons Travis Tritt and Alan Jackson.

Box Full of Bones is Matt’s first single following the release of his self-titled album, Matt Tanner, which came out last March.
