According to Bovada Sportsbook, LeBron James is the favorite to dethrone Stephen Curry as the league’s MVP this season, with odds of 11/4 or about 2.75/1.
As for the aforementioned reigning MVP, he’s currently sitting at #4 with 6/1 odds to repeat, slightly ahead of last year’s runner up James Harden (7/1).
The New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis (4/1) has the second best odds to win the MVP Award, and Kevin Durant- who will be returning from injury- is third on the list with odds of 11/2. Durant’s teammate, Russell Westbrook is also high on the ‘Best Odds To Win MVP’ list, currently sitting at #6 with odds of 12/1.
Absent from this list is one Kobe Bryant, who doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in Hell of hoisting the bronze trophy at the end of the season, according to the Las Vegas books.
