Asked if he was stunned to listen to from the drummer, Downing replied (hear audio under): “No, probably not. I used to be stunned that the opposite guys did not [get in touch]. But Scott did acknowledge [my departure] and wished me properly and stated some good issues, and that was good.”
The guitarist went on to say that he thought he was mates with all the opposite members of PRIEST earlier than his exit from the group and singled out bassist Ian Hill as the previous bandmate he’s “notably” dissatisfied in. “We went to toddler faculty, junior faculty, secondary faculty… Ian was identical to a brother [to me],” Ok.Ok. stated. “And that is why I used to be form of shocked, actually, that sure bulletins had been made simply that far left that got here from Ian.
