Justin Bieber’s ‘Purpose’ Broke Spotify’s Streaming Records

Justin Bieber’s latest record, Purpose has been doing very well for itself. Bieber is on track to reach his sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Now the pop star has broken Spotify’s streaming records. “Purpose broke the global and U.S. records for the most streams for an album in its first week of release, with 205 million global streams and 77 million in the United States,” Billboard reports.  That’s a lot of Justin Bieber.

Bieber also recently rolled out a series of music videos when combined together make up his film, Purpose: The Movement. The music videos were released last Saturday every hour for for each song on Purpose.
