Still not as hot as kissing your pop punk boyfriend in the bathroom at the VMAs

Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox have been close lately — we all saw that pic of them kissing their respective boyfriends, Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly, in the bathroom at the 2021 VMAs, and we’re not going to forget it anytime soon. Where many of us merely saw two hot couples taking over Instagram, however, SKIMS founder Kim Kardashian spotted a marketing opportunity.

Following a post-Olympics restock of its cotton collection, SKIMS has unveiled its latest campaign, starring no less than — you guessed it — the goth girlfriends themselves.

In a series of images shot by steadfast Kardashian collaborator Donna Trope, Kourtney Kardashian and Megan Fox are seen lounging around with a platter of cherries, holding red roses, or exploring the least convenient ways to share an apple. Of the matching cotton two pieces and shapewear they wear, most are black (only right, given their pop punk-inspired style transformations in recent months) and accessorised with matching green manicures.

“Kourt, forever isn’t long enough,” says Fox, sharing the images to Instagram. In an official statement, she adds: “I love that SKIMS really understands what women want to wear and that they want to feel sexy, confident and empowered.”

Kourtney, meanwhile, dismisses any doubts you might have about appearing in her sister’s campaign, saying: “SKIMS really is my favorite for my undies, bras and basics — I think I would say that even if Kim weren’t my sister!”

Earlier this year, Kate Moss also pledged her allegiance to the innovative shapewear label after starring in another Trope-shot campaign, joining a roster of high-profile fans that also includes Paris Hilton and Kourtney’s He’s All That  co-star Addison Rae.
