The nominations for this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro awards were announced today (Jan. 12). Colombian reggaetonero J Balvin leads the pack with 14 nominations.

Similar to last year’s Latin Grammy Awards, J Balvin is the most nominated artist at this year’s Premio Lo Nuestro. Colombia is home to the top nominees. Behind Balvin is pop star Maluma with 12 nominations, followed by singer-songwriter Camilo with 10 nominations.

Following them is Puerto Rican superstar Ozuna with 8 nominations. Surprisingly for having the top-selling Latin albums of last year, fellow Boricua Bad Bunny has only 7 nominations this year. He’s tied with Anuel AA, Karol G, Natti Natasha, Sech and Sebastián Yatra.

The nominations are divided up by genre and this year Premios Lo Nuestro is one of the few award shows recognizing corridos tumbados star Natanael Cano in the regional Mexican music categories. In the Artist of the Year category, he’s one of three Mexican artists, including Christian Nodal and Alejandro Fernández, facing off with reggaetón acts like J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Karol G and Maluma.

The Album of the Year category is a mixed bag of some of last year’s best releases. Bad Bunny’s YHLQMDLG is up against Prince Royce’s tropical and R&B album Alter Ego, Nodal’s AYAYAY!, El Fantasma’s Guárdame Esta Noche, and Los Ángeles Azules’ De Buenos Aires Para El Mundo. Other nominees in the category include J Balvin’s Colores and Maluma’s Papi Juancho.

In the Song of the Year category, Bad Bunny is shut out. Where is “Yo Perreo Sola?” Karol G’s “Tusa” with Nicki Minaj faces competition from songs like J Balvin’s “Morado,” Prince Royce’s record-breaking “Carita de Inocente” and Natasha’s “La Mejor Versión de Mí” remix with Romeo Santos.

Fans can vote now on the nominations on the show’s official website here. Premio Lo Nuestro will air live on Feb. 18 on Univision.
