Rotterdam based artist Yuno Verse premieres the music video for his acclaimed debut single released last week, and titled “Walls Of White” featuring Paya.
Far from the usual stereotypes of naked women and million dollar cars, the eclectic rapper has a unique musical and visual offer. Driving his inspiration from the struggles he faced along his life while striving to make it as an artist, Yuno is also a passionate man with multiple interests such as gastronomy, architecture and of course, art.
The visuals describe how the walls of an art gallery can be a psychological prison to an artist that thinks “outside the box”, where the physical manifestations of the white walls become canvases, moved around by Yuno and Paya who turn it into their atelier.
The meticulous and innovative use of projection technology paired with Yuno’s soothing yet sharp voice give this project a unique feature; raw authenticity. Yuno does not leave any room for mistakes, as he is involved in every stage of the project with a detail oriented approach only the greatest have.
The release of “Walls Of White” cements Yuno’s rise on a global scene, as a solid debut, part of his forthcoming EP: ‘Massimo’s Pigeon’, expected for release in 2019.
