Celebrating The Birthday Of The Icon Selena Tejano

Although the “Queen of Tejano music” left us early, her influence still lives on, even after decades of her passing.

The icon rose to fame in the early days of the ’90s, where she kept on dropping cutting-edge projects. Until the tragic murder of the artist, Selena had released 11 splendid albums.

Selena would have turned 50 years on April 16.

The Grammy-winning artist was the “Top-Selling Latin Artist” for the 1990s period. In 2020, Billboard also named her the “Greatest Of All Time Latin Artists.”
A special tribute will be dedicated to the late Selena on “The Source,” featuring Hector Saldaña, Sonya Alemán, Ph.D., Cat Cardenas, who will be the guests. It is a live call-in program, and the interview will take place on Thursday, April 16, 2021
