The American singer-songwriter and the former winner of American Idol has adapted to the new normal by scheduling an upcoming virtual concert. She will perform live from the Ryman Auditorium on April 4th at 11:00 am ET.

Carrie will serve the audience with some of her songs from her upcoming album “My Savior” which will be out on March 26. Notable guests will also perform alongside Carrie: including Grammy-winning gospel singer CeCe Winans, Needtobreathe frontman Bear Rinehart, McAnally, and Buddy Greene will also join Carrie in the concert.

The event is free, but attendees can donate to the Save the Children organization, which assists children in more than 100 countries around the globe.

“My Savior” is also the name of Underwood’s upcoming eighth studio album which will be out on March 26.

“This is an album I have always wanted to record, and I’m thrilled to be able to bring these uplifting, inspirational songs to life in this special way.”

Carrie expresses her excitement for the upcoming concert stating that the event will be a way to celebrate the importance of family. She finally adds that: “It means so much to be able to bring this event to people in their homes on a day that holds so much meaning for us spiritually and to be able to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the incredible work of Save the Children.”
