It’s been quite the successful album release for Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti. If you’ve been keeping up with the headlines, you may have noticed that Benito has been breaking records here and there, but now the album’s magnitude has officially been announced. Un Verano Sin Ti is officially the No. 1 album in the U.S.

The release of Un Verano Sin Ti took over not only social media but also the Nielson Music data. According to Billboard, the Caribbean-inspired album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. With 274,000 album-equivalent units, Bad Bunny has the biggest opening week of the year so far. Moreover, Un Verano Sin Ti is the second all Spanish-language album to ever reach No. 1. The first was Bad Bunny’s own El Último Tour Del Mundo, released in 2020.

However, that wasn’t the only feat — Un Verano Sin Ti also reigned in two other charts. Bad Bunny also topped the Top Latin Albums and the Latin Rhythm Albums charts. With that in mind, it’s no surprise that this has been Benito’s most successful release to date. Not only as an album itself but also by the success of each individual track. Billboard reported that every track landed on the Hot Latin Songs chart and that almost the entire album debuted on their all-genre Billboard Hot 100.

At the same time, it’s the first time in Hot 100 history (that’s 63 years of chart records) that there’s been four all-Spanish-language in the Top 10 chart simultaneously. The four songs that debuted on the Top 10 chart were “Moscow Mule” at No. 4, “Tití Me Preguntó” at No. 5, “Después De La Playa” at No. 6, and “Me Porto Bonito” featuring  Chencho Corleone at No. 10. In addition to this, he owns the top nine spots of the Hot Latin Songs chart right now, something that only he has done before in 2020. Yup, Benito did that!

Now that he has the No. 1 album in the country and he’s the first Latine artist to reach the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart, what will Benito conquer next?
