“That’s actually out of character for me,” Frehley stated throughout a “dwell dialog” at Hollywood’s Musicians Institute on September 25. “What occurred was, we had an ongoing rule on tour that there is no girls allowed within the dressing room. When we’re preparing, we do not need anyone… we do not even need guys in there. We had a standing rule that no girlfriends or something are allowed within the dressing room.

“I had a girlfriend with me — a mannequin from Canada, and, in fact, she at all times needed to wait outdoors,” Frehley continued. “When Shannon [Tweed-Simmons] and Paul‘s [Stanley] spouse got here on tour, they simply pranced into the dressing room. I let it go — I did not make a giant deal out of it. But now, that is the final day of the tour in Australia. Everybody has left the dressing room. Paul, Gene [Simmons] and Peter [Criss]… was Peter there, or was it Eric [Singer]? It’s not necessary to the story. They had all break up, so my girlfriend was standing outdoors, and I stated, ‘Hey, honey, come on in. Nobody’s right here.’

“Five minutes later, Tommy Thayer comes strolling in and goes, ‘Ace, you already know the rule — no girls within the dressing room.’ I am going, ‘There’s no person right here. It’s the top of the tour.’ He began being authoritative with me, so I gave him a shot. I obtained aggravated. I suppose the Bronx boy in me got here out.”
