They're up for vocal group of the year, so it only made sense that Lady Antebellum trotted out one of their recent hits at the 2018 ACM Awards.
It was “Heart Break,” the opener (and title track) on last year's LA LP — an encouraging single celebrating an upcoming summer of single-ness in order to get over a heartbreak. In other words a heart break.
Hillary Scott opened the song solo at the mic, sitting in front of a dressing room mirror. She was soon joined by bandmates Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley (on guitar and vocals), who flanked her as she strode in front of a downtown city-scape backdrop towards the MGM Grand Garden Arena crowd.
“Heart Break” currently sits at No. 22 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, its highest position yet in 28 weeks on the tally.
